How to complete Form I-9 verification (Section 2) in Wrapbook

Prev Next

The USCIS requires Section 2, known as Form I-9 verification, be completed by the employer no later than the 3rd business day after the employee starts work for pay.

In Wrapbook, any user with Company Admin, Company Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Assistant, or Department Head roles can approve I-9s, unless custom permissions are in place.

Form I-9 verification consists of the employee presenting identification documents to be physically reviewed, an employer reviewing those documents in person for legitimacy, and then entering the document information into Section 2 of the Form I-9. Once this is done, the employer adds their signature.

A list of types of identification documents that are acceptable to use can be found on the USCIS website or page 3 of the Form I-9.
