Project details

Prev Next

Project details are the primary information about a production that’s entered when a project is created. You can review this information in Project settings.

Notes:

  • If your project involves unions, film, or television, the Wrapbook Contracts Team and your Customer Success Manager will configure some project settings to ensure that worker payments are accurate and benefits, including pension and health contributions, are properly handled.

  • If a project setting is locked and you need help updating it, please contact your Wrapbook Customer Success Manager or the Support Team for assistance.

  2. Select the name of the project that you want to see Project details for

  3. In the left-side navigation, click Project settings

  4. In the PROJECT SETTINGS menu, click Project details

Required Project details

The following details must be entered for a project:

Project name

  • This is the name for the production project. This name will be shared with onboarded workers.

Production type

Project start date

  • This is the start date for your project

  • If you’re using Wrapbook to provide required Workers' compensation insurance, your project’s start date cannot be more than two weeks old

  • If needed, you can change a project’s start and end dates. The start date can be changed as long as it’s within the two weeks prior to the initially chosen start date.  When doing this, you’ll be prompted to attest that no injuries or claims have occurred for the project before the setting can be updated.

  • If you need to backdate a project to start more than two weeks prior to the initially chosen start date, click here

Project end date

  • This is the last known date that project workers will be paid

What kind of workers will be hired?

  • Click the checkboxes to identify the worker types for the project: Employees, Loan-Outs, and/or Contractors

  • You’ll be prompted to enter additional details based on the worker types that you enable. Providing these details helps Wrapbook determine how to handle your workers' compensation application.

  • When you use Wrapbook to pay employees and loan outs, we provide worker's compensation insurance and, if it proves necessary, disburse payments as part of the cost of running payroll.

  • You cannot add employees and loan outs to a project before a worker’s compensation application has been submitted.  Employees and loan-outs cannot be removed once added.

  • Contractors can be added to a project with or without workers’ compensation. You can only remove contractors if none have been hired for the project. If you select Contractors as a permitted worker type for a project, you won’t be able to change it.  Wrapbook will not be able to provide workers’ compensation and your production company will be listed as the hiring party on their Form 1099.

  • To learn more about worker classification see Worker Classification

Point of contact

  • Click the dropdown menu to select the main contact email address for the project.  Worker questions will be directed to this email address.

  • The email addresses that appear in the dropdown menu are based on the people that are listed as Members in your Company settings, Project preferences

  • If you want to use an email address that isn’t available from the dropdown menu, click Company settings in the left-side navigation, scroll down the page until you see the Permissions and Access Control section, and click the Manage button next to Members to add the email.  To learn more, see Members

Optional Project details

Entering the following Project details is optional:

Project number

  • This is an internal ID used for project tracking that’s specific to your production.  This ID is not used by Wrapbook.
