How to use Wrapbook as an agent

Agents can use Wrapbook by creating an agent profile.

With an agent profile, it’s possible to manage multiple clients under a single account. This means that agents can help their clients with project onboarding and managing payments.

Information for agents

When you create an agent account, you can:

  • Manage multiple client accounts

  • Complete onboarding on behalf of your clients

  • Review payment information

  • Receive checks on behalf of your clients

As an agent, you’ll receive an email invitation when your client is hired to a Wrapbook project.

Create an agent profile

  1. Find the invite email in your inbox and click the link provided. You'll be taken to a page where you can create your agent account.

  2. Add your information to your agent profile

  3. Complete the check authorization form, which allows Wrapbook to send checks to you on behalf of your clients

  4. Set up your agent fee percentage, which determines what portion of your clients' gross wages you'll receive

Manage your clients in Wrapbook

Once your agent account is set up, you can:

  • View all your clients in one dashboard

  • Complete startwork documentation for your clients

    • To sign startwork, your clients will need to have Wrapbook accounts

      • If they don't have one already, have them click the invite sent to their email

      • If they already have an account, they should see the project on their All projects dashboard. They can join the project to complete the onboarding process.

    • On the Clients page, click the Needs Onboarding tab to see a list of your clients that haven’t completed onboarding yet. Enter their information to proceed

    • To learn more, see Startwork

  • Track payments and payment status

    • Click the Onboarded Workers tab to find your client

    • Click on their profile to see all payments made. All payments will be sent directly to the address that you designated during onboarding.

  • Access tax documents

Working with an agent

If you're a worker with an agent that uses Wrapbook:

  • You can invite your agent to complete your startwork

  • Your agent can view and receive payments on your behalf

  • Your agent will have access to review your payment information

If you’re agent uses Wrapbook, you’ll receive an invitation to join Wrapbook via email

  • If you don't have a Wrapbook account already, you'll be prompted to create one. To learn more, see our Quick Start Guide.

Your agent's access is limited to payment-related activities and startwork. They cannot access your personal account settings or modify your profile information without your permission.

Agent-assisted onboarding

Your agent will be able to onboard on your behalf, or if you'd prefer, you can complete the onboarding yourself

  • Once you’ve onboarded to a project, you can use Wrapbook to submit your timecards and expenses

Your earnings can either be directed to your agent's place of business with checks made out to you, care of your agent, or you can direct payments to yourself.
