FAQ

To help you understand how state and local tax withholding forms work in Wrapbook, we’ve put together this list of frequently-asked questions. Click the arrow next to a question to see the answer.

What’s different if I’ve used Wrapbook before?

  • If you used Wrapbook prior to Jan. 5, 2026, you may notice a more guided experience that asks you to complete and sign state or local forms when you join certain projects or change your withholdings

  • Your existing withholdings remain valid for ongoing projects, but new projects created after the feature update may require you to update the forms

I joined a new project and was asked to fill out state forms again. Is that expected?

Yes. For new projects, you’ll complete the forms required for that project’s location so your withholdings are current.

I changed cities within the same state. Do I need new forms?

Possibly. Some states require different local forms by city. If your situation changes, you may need to complete updated forms and confirm your address.

Why am I seeing different forms than before?

The experience tailors requirements based on your work location and reciprocity rules, so you only fill out what applies to you.

I wasn’t prompted to complete state or local tax withholding forms on my current project. Is that okay?

Yes. If your existing withholdings are valid for that project and you aren’t changing them, you may not be prompted to submit new forms.
