Overview
Wrapbook processes payroll for workers on US productions. To receive payment through Wrapbook, workers must meet certain eligibility requirements related to their bank account, mailing address, and identification. This article explains what is required and what to do if you are unsure whether you qualify.
Direct deposit (ACH) requirements
To receive payment via direct deposit (ACH), you must have:
A US bank account with a valid ABA routing number
ACH transfers cannot be sent to foreign (non-US) bank accounts — international bank accounts are not supported for direct deposit
To set up or update your direct deposit information, see How to set up your payment method.
Paper check requirements
To receive payment via paper check, Wrapbook requires a US mailing address. International mailing addresses are not supported — checks cannot be mailed outside of the United States.
Tax identification requirements
Wrapbook is required by US law to collect a valid US Social Security Number (SSN) for all workers for tax reporting purposes.
Canadian workers on US productions
If you are a Canadian worker employed on a US production through Wrapbook, you are paid in US dollars (USD). To receive payment, you must set up a US-compatible payment method:
Direct deposit: You must use a US bank account with a valid ABA routing number. Canadian bank accounts cannot receive ACH transfers.
Paper check: Checks are mailed to a US address only
I-9 verification and payment holds
Productions may optionally configure their Wrapbook project to block payment to workers who have not completed their I-9 employment eligibility verification. If your payment is being held and you have not completed your I-9, contact your production administrator to complete the verification process. You can find your production contact on the project dashboard.
Cross-border payroll compliance questions
Wrapbook processes payroll based on the information provided by your production. For questions about cross-border payroll compliance, tax treaties, or work visa requirements, contact your production's payroll specialist or HR team.
