Enable Cost tracking and the Budget tracker

In Wrapbook, production accountants and administrators can manage accounting tasks using either Cost tracking or the Production Accounting Suite.

Cost tracking and Budget tracker settings are permission based

To enable, your account must have one of the following roles enabled:

  • Role: Company Admin, Company Manager, Project Coordinator

  • Custom role with: Accounting & Cost Tracking / Budgets/EFC -  Full access

In order to access Wrapbook’s cost tracking features, make sure the following features are enabled in the project’s settings:

  • Accounting chart (COA)

  • Cost tracking

  • Budget tracker

  1. From the left-side navigation, click the dropdown menu

  2. Select the name of the project that you want to enable cost tracking for

  3. In the left-side navigation, click Project settings to reveal the Project settings panel

  4. In the Project settings panel, click Cost Tracking

  5. Click the toggles to enable cost tracking and the budget tracker

  6. Click the Save Changes button
