In Wrapbook, production accountants and administrators can manage budgets using either Cost tracking or the Production Accounting Suite.
View a project budget in Cost tracking
Viewing a project budget is permission based
To view a project budget in Wrapbook, your account must have one of the following roles enabled:
Role: Company Admin, Company Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Assistant
Custom role with: Accounting & Cost Tracking / Budgets (Cost Tracking) - Full access, View and import, View only
To view the details of a a project’s budget:
In the left-side navigation, click the dropdown menu
In the dropdown menu, select the name of the project that you want to see the budget for
In the project dashboard’s Budget overview, click View budget
On the project’s Budget tracker page, click on the ACCT section
On the budget section page, click on an ACCT line number to see the details
Current and historical budget data
When you select the current or a future period, you can edit the budget amounts. When you select a previous period, the grid displays the values for that period and the amounts become read-only. Selecting an effective date within an open period keeps the amounts editable; selecting an effective date in a previous period makes the amounts read-only.
To review the budget settings, select the gear icon. To show or hide columns, select Display. To create or use a saved filter view, use the view tabs above the grid. To generate a report, click Reports.
Update a project budget in Cost tracking
Updating a project budget is permission based
To update a project budget in Wrapbook, your account must have one of the following roles enabled:
Role: Company Admin, Company Manager, Project Coordinator
Custom role with: Accounting & Cost Tracking / Budgets (Cost Tracking) - Full access
To update a section of the budget:
On the project’s Budget tracker page, click the three dots next to the budget section that you want to update
Click Edit section
Click the boxes to update the amounts
