Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an account login process that requires users to enter more information than just a password to access their account. For example, users might be asked for an authenticator code, an SMS verification code, or fingerprint scan. This extra layer of security helps verify the user's identity and prevent bad actors from gaining access to their account.
MFA Requirements
All users will be required to authenticate via MFA when accessing account details via the desktop version and the mobile app. You have three options for authenticating: SMS, Authenticator or Biometrics (if available on your device).
New users will be required to enroll in MFA when creating a Wrapbook account
Workers will be required to authenticate via MFA when accessing their Account details and Tax documents on a project
Company users will be asked to authenticate when editing specific pages within Company Settings, including tax settings, bank account, administrators, and two-factor authentication (2FA)
Skip a second step on trusted devices
If you don't want to provide a second verification step each time you sign in on your computer or phone, check the box next to Remember this device for 30 days
Only check this box on devices you regularly use and don't share with anyone else

SMS/Voice call
Security key (biometrics)
Google Authenticator
Open your Google Authenticator app
Click + at the lower right corner
Scan a QR code
Scan the QR code that shows on your screen. Once you scan the code, you'll be sent a one-time code for you to enter to continue MFA enrollment.
SMS/Voice call
If you choose SMS/Voice Call, you'll get a text or a call with a six-digit code that you can enter to confirm your identity
Please note that Wrapbook can only support US or Canada phone numbers at this time
Security key (biometrics)
If your personal device supports biometrics such as FaceID or fingerprint, you can opt to use these to confirm your identity
You’ll need to choose SMS/Voice or Authenticator as a backup option before activating the Security key/biometrics method
