Overview

Regardless of where production work is performed, all project workers being paid through Wrapbook must have a:

  • US bank account

  • US address

  • Valid social security number (SSN)

Paying U.S. workers in foreign work locations

Wrapbook may support payroll for U.S. workers working in eligible foreign locations. To use this feature, the following must be in place:

  • Your account must be configured for foreign payroll by your Wrapbook Customer Success Manager

  • The foreign work location must be reviewed and approved by Wrapbook's Workers' Compensation (WC) team before it can be added to a project

  • Foreign work locations will not appear as an option in your project settings until WC approval has been granted

Once a foreign location is approved and added to your project, workers can select that location on their timecards for each day of work.

Note: Not all countries are eligible. Wrapbook's WC team must review and approve the locations.

Processing payroll in Canada

US citizens working in Canada with a Canadian Tax Waiver

  • For US citizens working in Canada with a Canadian Tax Waiver, Wrapbook can support these workers if––and only if––they apply for their waiver using Wrapbook's CRA Number

  • Once Wrapbook approves the waiver, payments will be completed & managed in Wrapbook

  • Please reach out to the Support team or your Customer Success Manager for the CRA Number

US residents working in Canada without a waiver

  • For US resident employees and loan outs working in Canada, Wrapbook can support these workers in all provinces except Quebec, both union and non-union
