About the Demographic Hiring Reports

The Demographic Report provides an overview of workforce diversity across all your projects in Wrapbook. It aggregates self-reported demographic data from workers, helping companies better understand, report on, and support diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Ways to use this report

The Demographic Report is especially useful for:

  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) tracking -Gain visibility into workforce representation across projects and departments

  • Grant applications and incentives - Support eligibility for diversity-focused funding or tax incentive programs

  • Industry reporting - Meet union, studio, or partner reporting requirements regarding hiring diversity

  • Hiring strategy - Inform recruitment efforts and identify areas for improvement

  • Internal accountability- Track progress on diversity goals across time and projects

What’s included in the report

The Demographic Report includes aggregated and anonymized data from workers who have completed optional self-identification forms in Wrapbook. It may include:

  • Worker Type (W-2 or 1099)

  • Project Name

  • Job Title

  • Gender Identity

  • Race/Ethnicity

  • Disability Status

  • Veteran Status

  • LGBTQIA+ Identification

  • Age Range

How to generate a Demographic Hiring Report

To export the Demographic Hiring Report:

  1. In the left-side navigation, click the dropdown menu

  2. In the dropdown menu, select All projects

  3. In the left-side navigation, click Reports

  4. On the Reports dashboard, under Demographic Hiring Report, click the View report button

  5. On the Demographic Hiring Report page, use the filters at the top to adjust:

    • Date range

    • Project

    • Worker type (W-2 or 1099)

  1. Click Download CSV to export the report

After you click the Download CSV button, the file will be automatically downloaded to your computer. To locate the file, navigate to where your computer saves new downloads.

  • Run this report regularly to assess hiring patterns and improve DEI tracking over time

  • For the most complete results, encourage team members and crew to fill out the optional demographic form during onboarding.

  • Pair this with other reports (like Payroll Reports and Wrap Reports) to analyze diversity alongside financial and operational data
