Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an account login process that requires users to enter more information than just a password to access their account. For example, users might be asked for an authenticator code, an SMS verification code, or fingerprint scan. This extra layer of security helps verify the user's identity and prevent bad actors from gaining access to their account.
Authentication methods
When you login to Wrapbook, you may be asked to confirm your identity using MFA.
Wrapbook offers three options for MFA:
Google Authenticator
SMS/Voice call
Security key (biometrics)
Google Authenticator
Google Authenticator is an app that is commonly used for MFA. If you regularly use your mobile device to login to password-protected accounts, you may already have Google Authenticator installed and setup.
To see if you have Google Authenticator, look for the following icon on your mobile device:

Google Authenticator icon
If you want to use Google Authenticator when logging into your Wrapbook account, you’ll need to:
Have the Google Authenticator app installed on your device
Open your Google Authenticator app on your device
Click + at the lower right corner
Scan the QR code that shows on your screen. Once you scan the code, you'll be sent a one-time code for you to enter to continue MFA enrollment.
SMS/Voice call
If you choose SMS/Voice Call, you'll get a text or a call with a six-digit code that you can enter to confirm your identity
Please note that Wrapbook can only support US or Canada phone numbers at this time
Security key (biometrics)
If your personal device supports biometrics such as FaceID or fingerprint, you can opt to use these to confirm your identity
You’ll need to choose SMS/Voice or Authenticator as a backup option before activating the Security key/biometrics method
