Chart of Accounts (COA)

The Project chart templates section is where you can set up a company-level Chart of Accounts (COA).

  • A COA is an itemized list of accounting codes that correspond with financial transactions

  • In production accounting, each payable item (like cast, crew, and expenses) is assigned a specific code within the budget

  • When payable items are assigned codes, their associated values (like rates and fees) are stored within that account, which helps with cost reporting and budget tracking
