This article covers project charts for Cost tracking.
In Wrapbook, production accountants and administrators can manage project charts using either Cost tracking or the Production Accounting Suite.
If your company uses the Production Accounting Suite (PAS), see Chart of Accounts (PAS).
Overview
A project chart is your company's list of cost codes, organized into sections. Wrapbook uses it to code payroll costs and, if you have an accounting integration, to map each cost code to an account or other value in your accounting system.
Project charts are built once at the company level and reused across projects. Most companies use one or two charts for all their productions, often based on the AICP template.
💡 A chart is shared by every project that uses it. When you edit a chart, the change applies to all of those projects.
View your project charts
In the left-side navigation, under Company, click …More
In the …More menu, click Company settings
On Company settings, under Accounting settings, find Project chart templates, then click Edit
The Project charts page lists every chart in your company with its number of sections and lines. From here you can add a new chart or click Edit to open an existing one.

On the Project charts page, click Add chart

The new chart opens so you can review and edit it. The available sections and lines depend on the option you selected under Start from.
Import a chart from CSV
On the Project charts page, click Add chart

Click Import
The import page lists these required columns:
Cost code
Cost type
The import page lists these cost type options:
Labor
Expense
Fringe
Platform fee
Sections are optional. If you use sections, the short code is required.
If you have an active accounting integration, copy and paste your Chart of Accounts into the Mapping to column. Values in Mapping to are imported into the grid's Map to account field. If Mapping to is blank for a row, Wrapbook tries to match the row's cost code to an account number, or its description to an account name, and maps it automatically when it finds a match. Review the Map to account values after importing.
Use the column names exactly as they appear in the template, including capitalization and spaces. The easiest way is to download the template from the import page and fill it in.

Common questions
How do I edit a line?
Click the cell you want to change, such as the description, cost type, or Map to account, and enter the new value. Your change saves when you click outside the cell. To change the same field on several lines at once, select the lines, click Edit multiple, choose the field and value, and click Apply.
How do I add a section or line?
Click Actions, then choose Add section or Add line. To add a line directly to a specific section, click ⋮ on that section’s row and choose Add line.
What does Map to mean?
The last column in the grid connects each line to an account or other value in your accounting system. Its name reflects the chart’s category mapping, for example Map to account or Map to class.
Will editing a chart change my other projects?
Yes. Every project using the chart gets the change.
What does the chart issues banner mean?
Some lines are missing information your accounting integration needs, which can cause failed payroll pushes. Expand the banner to see which lines need attention.
