Adding items to a worker’s timecard is permission based
To add items, your account must have one of the following roles enabled:
Role: Company Admin, Company Manager, Project Coordinator
Custom role with: Expenses - Full access, Create and manage
Special types of pay
In Wrapbook, Add item is used on worker timecards to calculate special types of pay for specific working conditions.
Smoke pay
Additional compensation for working with smoke effects, such as operating fog machines or working in smoky conditions on set.
Wet pay
Compensation for when workers have to work in wet conditions that weren't initially expected, such as standing in rain or being in water.
Makeup pay
Compensation for time spent in makeup.
Hazard pay
Additional compensation for any unexpected hazardous or dangerous situations that could pose risks to workers.
These are all considered wage types that may be taxed and can be added to a worker's payment.
Adding an item
You can add a special type of pay to a worker’s timecard when creating it, or updating it:
On the worker’s timecard, click the Add item button at the top of the worker timecard to a add special pay rates

Click the Add item button and then make your selections
