Overview
As of August 10, 2026, the new navigation is the default experience for all Wrapbook users — no action required. When you log in, you'll see the updated sidebar automatically.
If instructions you're following don't match what you see on screen, this article will help you find what you're looking for in the new navigation.
Want to go back temporarily? A switch-back option is available until September 7, 2026, when the previous navigation is retired for all users. See Switching back below.
How to Tell Which Navigation You're Seeing
Before following any navigation steps in this article, take a moment to identify which experience you're on — the layout and menu items are different depending on your version.
New navigation
A Search option (with keyboard shortcut ⌘K) appears near the top of your sidebar (company admins only)
Your project name appears as a selectable item with a dropdown arrow at the top left of the page
Inside a project, sidebar items are organized into labeled sections — such as Payroll, Accounting, or Cost & budget
The bottom of your sidebar shows "Using the new navigation" with Switch back and Learn more buttons
Legacy navigation
Your sidebar does not have a Search option at the top (company admins only)
Inside a project, the company admin sidebar lists items without section groupings
Your project name appears in small text at the top of the sidebar, above the navigation items
No "Using the new navigation" footer in the sidebar
Switching Between Navigation Versions
Opting into the new navigation
During the transition, you can return to the previous navigation at any time. Once you're on the new navigation, look for "Using the new navigation" at the very bottom of your sidebar — click Switch back to return to the previous experience. Your preference is saved until September 7, when all users are moved to the new navigation.

Frequently Asked Questions
To help you navigate Wrapbook, we’ve put together a list of frequently-asked questions. Click the arrow next to any of the questions below to see the answer.
How do I know which navigation I'm on?
Look at the bottom of your sidebar. If you see "Using the new navigation" with Switch back and Learn more buttons, you're on the new navigation. Company admins can also check: if you see Search near the top of your sidebar and your project name appears as a selector with a dropdown arrow, you're on the new navigation.
The steps in a Help Center article don't match what I see. What do I do?
A: You may be on a different navigation version than the one the article was written for. Use the label reference table above to find the current name for any menu item, or refer to the "Getting around" section for your user type.
Where are my notification preferences?
Profile menu (top right) → Notification settings.
Where is "Reports"? I can't find it.
In the new navigation, Reports has been renamed to Company reports and moved into the More section of the company sidebar. Click More in the Company section at the top of your sidebar to find it.
Where are Vendors and Startwork?
Company-level Vendors and Startwork have moved into the More section and been renamed All vendors and Company startwork. Project-level Vendors and Startwork remain directly in the project sidebar, unchanged.
I'm a worker. Where did "Timecard" go?
In the new navigation, the timecard and allowances are combined into a single page called Timecard & allowances. Select your project from the sidebar, then click Timecard & allowances.
I'm a worker. Where are my documents?
In the new navigation, worker documents haven't been renamed — they're still under Documents in your project sidebar. Select your project, then click Documents.
Where is the Wrapbook phone number / support hours I used to see?
That information has been removed from the navigation. For help, click the Scout icon in the sidebar. For other support options see: How to get help using Wrapbook
I switched to the new navigation. Can I go back?
Yes — look for "Using the new navigation" at the bottom of your sidebar and click Switch back. This is available through August 10.
When does the previous navigation go away completely?
The legacy navigation is scheduled to be retired on September 7, 2026. After that date, all users will be on the new navigation.
Why does one project's onboarding page look different from another project's?
During the navigation rollout, existing projects may continue to use the previous onboarding experience, while newly created projects use the updated onboarding view. If you manage multiple projects, it is expected that you may see both versions at the same time. The difference does not necessarily indicate a problem with either project; it reflects when each project was created and which onboarding experience it uses.
If you need help confirming what you’re seeing, contact your Wrapbook Customer Success Manager or the Support Team.
