# Workers' compensation

Proof of workers’ compensation insurance is required for all productions that are using Wrapbook to manage payroll. To help production companies comply, Wrapbook provides workers’ compensation insurance for production employees and loan outs.

When you create a project, you’ll be prompted to enter information that will be automatically added to your workers’ compensation insurance application. The system will submit your application after you complete project setup.

## Access Workers’ compensation

> [!NOTE]
> Workers’ compensation settings are access-controlled
>
> To view a project’s workers’ compensation information, your account must have one of the following [roles](/v1/docs/permissions-and-access-control) enabled:
>
> - Role: *Company Admin, Company Manager, Project Coordinator*
> - Custom role with: *Project management* - *Full access, Manage*

To access *Workers’ compensation* settings:

1. From the left-side navigation, click the dropdown menu
2. Select the name of the project that you want to see the settings for
3. In the left-side navigation, click **Project settings**
4. Under *PROJECT SETTINGS*, click **Workers’ compensation**

Workers’ compensation settings cannot be updated once a Certificate of Insurance is added to a project.
