# Export vendor information

> Vendors is permission based
> 
> To update, your account must have one of the following roles enabled:
> 
> - Role: *Company Admin, Company Manager*
> - Custom role with: *Vendors - Full access, Project access*

## Overview

From the *Vendor*s page, you can export the following information to a CSV file:

- *Vendor listing*
- *Vendor spend summary*
- *Vendor spend detailed*

The table below lists what data is included in each of the vendor export options.

| Includes: - Company name - Last name - First name - Payee name - DBA name - EIN/SSN - Address - Contact - Phone number - Email - W-9 on file | Includes all of the details in the *Vendor listing* export plus… - Project - Transaction type - Transaction # - Ref. # - Transaction description - Transaction date - Period - Transaction amount - Post status - Bank - Payment type - Payment # - Payment date | Includes all of the details in the *Vendor spend summary* plus… - PO number - Location - Production/episode - ACCT - Set - Free fields - 1099 code - 1099 vendor - Detail description - Detail amount - Asset |

To export vendor information:

1. In the left-side navigation, click the dropdown menu
2. In the dropdown menu, select **All projects**
3. In the left -side navigation, click **Vendors**
4. On the *Vendors* page, click the **Export** button
5. In the *Export* dropdown menu, select the type of information that you’d like to export: *Vendor listing, Vendor spend summary, or Vendor spend detailed*

Once you select the type of information you’d like to export, the CSV file will automatically be downloaded by your computer. To access the file, navigate to where your computer saves new downloads.

Employer Identification Number: Federal tax identifier used to identify a business

(Social Security Number) A unique identifier issued to U.S. citizens and residents that serves multiple purposes including taxation and identification.

(Purchase Order) A financial document committing the production to expenditure.

An IRS form by which specific income (such as non-employee compensation, royalties, etc.) is reported to the federal government. Equivalent to a W-2 for independent contractors where remuneration is not being paid by the employer.
