# Shortcut menu

> [!NOTE]
> Using the shortcut menu in Wrapbook is permission based
>
> To use the shortcut menu, your account must have the following [role](/v1/docs/permissions-and-access-control) enabled:
>
> - Role: *Company Admin*

## Overview

Wrapbook includes a built-in navigation shortcut that lets you search for records, jump to any dashboard, and create new items — all without leaving what you're working on. Press **Cmd+K** on Mac or **Ctrl+K** on Windows from any page to open it.

The shortcut works at two levels:

- **Inside a project:** Search for POs, invoices, timecards, payment batches, payments, and vendors within that project
- **At the company level:** Find projects by name, jump to company settings pages, or start a new project

**Note:** The options you see in the shortcut menu depend on the features your company has enabled in Wrapbook.
