# How to use your account

## Your Wrapbook account

To use Wrapbook, you’ll need an account.

Wrapbook accounts are free and can be connected to multiple projects and production companies.

- If you haven’t used Wrapbook before, the production company that you’re working for will create an account for you and invite you to join
- If you’ve received an invitation to join Wrapbook, you can use the [Quick Start Guide](/v1/docs/quick-start-guide) to set up your account

## Account merges

In Wrapbook, you don’t have to create a new account each time you’re invited to join a project. A single Wrapbook account can be connected to multiple projects and production companies.

To ensure you’re using a single account:

- If you try to create a new Wrapbook account using worker information that’s already connected to an existing Wrapbook account, an alert will appear that says, *You already have a Wrapbook account,* and provide the following options:
  - *Login with existing account*
  - *Contact customer support*
- Click the **Login with existing account** button to merge the new account with your existing account. This will allow you to access all your projects from a single Wrapbook account.
- If you no longer have access to the email, click the **Contact customer support** button to get help updating your account information
