# How to access petty cash

## About petty cash

Wrapbook uses digital petty cash envelopes for managing small, immediate production-related expenses, replacing traditional paper records.

Key features include:

- Production administrators can distribute funds to workers and track spending in real-time
- Production workers receive email confirmations when funds are distributed
- Workers can upload receipts to document petty cash transactions

## Access your petty cash

To access your petty cash:

- When petty cash is distributed to you, you’ll receive an email notification
- In the email, click to confirm receipt of the cash through the Wrapbook
- Your digital petty cash envelope will now be accessible on the project’s dashboard
- On your project dashboard, you’ll see your *Petty cash envelope* balance and details
- After making purchases, go to the project dashboard and click the digital **Petty cash envelope** to upload your receipts documenting your petty cash transactions

## Submit your receipts

When submitting receipts, you should include:

- The date of the expense
- The total amount of the transaction
- A description of the purchase
- The vendor name
- Supporting documentation (receipt files)

An envelope designed with appropriate categories for cash amounts, for the purpose of submitting receipts and other related documents required for petty cash accounting.

A company or individual providing a product or service.
