# Duplicate a startwork packet

> [!NOTE]
> Startwork packets are permission based
> 
> To duplicate a **company-level startwork packet**, your account must have one of the following [roles](/v1/docs/permissions-and-access-control) enabled:
> 
> - Role: *Company Admin, Company Manager*
> - Custom role with: *Worker hiring and startwork - Full access*
> 
> To duplicate a **project-level startwork packet**, your account must have one of the following roles enabled:
> 
> - Role: *Company Admin, Company Manager, Project Coordinator*
> - Custom role with: *Worker hiring and startwork - Full access, Project access only*

When you duplicate a packet, a copy of the original packet will be created for easy editing.

To duplicate a startwork packet:

1. At the top of the left-side navigation, click the dropdown menu
  - If you want to duplicate a startwork packet at the **company-level,** select **All projects**
  - If you want to duplicate a startwork packet at the **project-level,** select the project that you’re duplicating the packet for
2. In the left-side navigation, click **Startwork**
3. From *Startwork* dashboard, click the three dots next to a packet you want to duplicate
4. Select **Duplicate**
5. A drawer will open, allowing you to edit the name, description, and the documents included
6. After making your updates, click **Create Packet**
