# About Budget/EFC (PAS)

## Overview

The Budget and Estimated Final Cost (EFC) features in the Production Accounting Suite (PAS) allow you to track, manage, and analyze your production's financial data in real-time.

When you use PAS, each project budget will contain a comprehensive list of anticipated costs including:

- Worker wages and fringes
- Rental costs
- Location fees
- All other expected production expenses

The EFC will automatically based on actual costs incurred during production, helping you track variances from the original budget.

## Access a project’s Budget/EFC

> The Production Accounting Suite (PAS) is permission based
> 
> To access PAS features in Wrapbook, your account must have one of the following [roles](/v1/docs/roles-permissions) enabled:
> 
> - Role: *Company Admin, Accountant*
> - Custom role with: *Accounting & Cost Tracking / Budgets (Production Accounting) - Full access*

To access a project’s Budget/EFC:

1. Make sure [*Production Accounting*](/v1/docs/about-production-accounting) has been enabled for your company’s account
2. In the left-side navigation, click the dropdown menu
3. In the dropdown menu, select the project that you want to see the *Budget/EFC* for
4. In the project dashboard’s *Budget & EFC* overview, click **View budget**
