# Adding Required startwork & document uploads to an invitation

## Overview

After you add the [Job dates & pay](/v1/docs/adding-job-dates-pay-to-an-invitation) to the invitation, you’ll be able to assign startwork and require training document uploads for the worker to complete during onboarding.

When paper forms will be used, you can skip this step and proceed to [sending an invitation](/v1/docs/how-to-invite-workers-to-a-project).

## How to add startwork and document upload requirements to a project worker’s invitation

To add startwork and training document upload requirements to a project worker’s invitation:

1. In the *Required startwork & document uploads* section, click the **Assign startwork** button
2. Select [*Packet*](/v1/docs/about-startwork-packets)*,* [*Documents*](/v1/docs/about-startwork)*, or* [*Document upload requests*](/v1/docs/how-to-add-training-requirements-for-worker-onboarding)
3. In the drawer, click the checkboxes to select the startwork packet, documents, or document upload requirements that the worker must complete
4. Once you’ve finished configuring startwork and document upload requriements, click the **Assign** button. The startwork and any document upload requirements assigned will now be listed under *Required startwork & document uploads* on the worker’s profile.

You can delete a startwork or document upload requirement on an unsent invitation by going to the *Required startwork & document uploads* section of the invitation and clicking the **trash icon** next to the item.
