# Add a production entity

> [!NOTE]
> Production entities are permission based
> 
> To update, your account must have one of the following [roles](/v1/docs/permissions-and-access-control) enabled:
> 
> - Role: *Company Admin*
> - Custom role with: *General settings* - *Full access, Production entities - Full access, Manage*

To add a production entity:

1. In the left-side navigation, click the dropdown menu
2. In the dropdown menu, select **All projects**
3. In the left-side navigation, click **Company settings**
4. Next to *Production entities*, click the **Manage** button
5. On the *Production entities* page, click the **+ Add production entity** button
6. Enter the required information: *Name, EIN,* and *Address*
7. You’ll have the option to upload supporting legal documents,(for example Articles of Incorporation or Powers of Attorney), for the PE, by clicking **+ Add a document**
8. Click the box to confirm that you’ve read through the *Terms of Service* and *Agreements*
9. Click the **Save** button

*Click on each of the fields to enter the required information. To add a file, click* ***+ Add a document****. Click the checkbox next to the Terms of Service, and then click the* ***Save*** *button.*
