# About SAG-AFTRA workers

## Overview

SAG-AFTRA, the *Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists*, is a labor union representing media professionals, including actors, announcers, and broadcast journalists advocating for fair wages, benefits, and working conditions, and protecting members' rights. When a project will include SAG-AFTRA workers, Wrapbook can automatically handle:

- Pension, Health & Welfare (P&H) calculations
- Union fringe benefit calculations
- Required tax withholdings

## Supported SAG-AFTRA agreements

Wrapbook currently supports SAG-AFTRA productions under the agreements listed below:

### Theatrical

- *Ultra Low Budget Agreement (UPA)*
- *Moderately Low Budget (MPA)*
- *Low Budget (LBA)*

### Other

- *New Media up to $700K budget*
- *Netflix Audio Dubbing*
- *SAG-AFTRA Corporate Education*
- *SAG-AFTRA Interactive*
- *SAG-AFTRA Music Videos*

### Limitation

Wrapbook does not support the **SAG Commercial Agreement** (the union contract for on-screen SAG-AFTRA talent in broadcast and advertising commercials) at this time, due to residuals requirements.

**This is a limitation on one specific union agreement.** Wrapbook fully supports commercial productions for non-union crew and talent, as well as many other SAG-AFTRA agreements that may be used on commercial sets (see supported agreements list above, including SAG-AFTRA Corporate Education and Music Videos).

The additional employer's cost of hiring labor over and above salary; includes statutory charges such as payroll taxes as well as benefits negotiated under a collective bargaining agreement.

Additional compensation equivalent to an author's royalty paid to actors, directors, writers, etc., according to union contract. These fees are typically union-negotiated and are in addition to an employee’s salary that is paid when a show is re-aired beyond its original premier (DVD release, syndicated airing, streaming events, etc.).
