# Project Setup: Default settings

On the *Configure your default settings* page, you’ll assign defaults for your project.

## Time rounding for non-union timecards

- Click the dropdown menu to select how time on non-union timecards should be rounded when calculating payroll: *Closest 15 minutes, Closest 6 minutes,* or *Closest 1 minute*

## Require department assignment

- Click the toggle if you want to require workers to be assigned to a specific production [department](/v1/docs/additional-settings#departments)
- When you assign workers to departments, you’ll be able to use the *Department* filter on the project’s [*People* dashboard](/v1/docs/people-dashboard#project-people) to display their information quickly

## Approval workflow management

- Click the dropdown menu to select which approval workflows are needed for this project.
- Approval workflows are created at the company level in Wrapbook and selected for use at the project level. To learn more, see [Approval workflows](/v1/docs/approval-workflows).

## Automatically reissue startwork for change forms

- Click the toggle if you want to automatically reissue [startwork](/v1/docs/about-startwork) for change forms
- If disabled, you can choose whether to reissue startwork when submitting a change form

## Include start/close forms with startwork

- Choose whether to automatically include start/close forms in [startwork](/v1/docs/about-startwork) for loan-out companies and individual workers
- Click the toggle to automatically include start/close forms and reissue them when deal points change

Once you’ve finished entering the information in the *Default settings* section, click the **Save & continue** button.
